FYI if your looking for a concaved face you need a 18x 9.5 et + 30 or +38. Most run a 265/35/18 275/35/18/ 255/40/18 tire set ups.

I appreciated the help a bunch. So right now my suspension is stock if i get the 18x9.5 +38 will i be able to run them without rubbing? Im not quit sure if thats what I want but it seems like what everyone else gets. As far as the tire goes it seems like i need the 265/35/18, but once again I want it to fit without rubbing at least until I lower it. Because, I am not wanting to do the suspension till later. The 18x9.5 +30 will stick out slightly less? Correct? Sorry, Im new to all this. Thanks in advance

Hey everyone, been a while since I posted any pics so here are a few from a show back in June, car is tentatively scheduled for professional pics for an upcoming magazine feature and once that happens I should have some nicer ones to post, these were shot by me after slaving over the car in 100+ degree heat and 80+ humidity at a show in Houston, (found out later the heat index was 120! yikes) it's wonder they're even somewhat in focus There's some sweet rides and sick wheels in this thread, keep up the good work!

You will not have any problems with rubbing using any of the size that I have mentioned. Most people do go with 265/35... if you really want to finish the look off I suggest going with a good coilover or a set of good lowering springs and a strut with a low mount perch to eliminate as much fender gap as possible..

So now after looking for awhile im not sure if I want to do the whole whip in 18x9.5. I am maybe thinking about doing a 18x8.5 in the front for anyone who has done this are the any positives or negatives. Because I know you have to have a 9.5 to get the concave look. I think i might like the flat front in the front and a concave in the back.
