If he wasn't running thinner and narrower tires than factory 225/45, then I'd give him credit.

Doing anything legit is counterproductive for you. Everyone is going to assume it's a replica anyways since you are a replica nut swinger.

fair enough haha. I'm just not trying to post anything because I want it to be a surprise since they will be the most aggressive wheels put on a stock body Rx8.

Makes sense, buy a shitty kit to make your car look shitty only because you almost purposely want to scrape everywhere. Look at 8 owners such as Ngo, Izzy, Sifu and plenty more all riding low and still riding legit. Eventually the cheap fiberglass replicas will crack, tear, break repeatedly and you are going to end up wasting the same amount fixing them and getting them repainted compared to if you would have bought authentic which are made with better material and better overall. You guys on here are about "FITMENT"... lol Replicas aren't.

Maybe at first one will not notice a Replica kit, at least to the untrained eye, but for us that can spot them.... It makes all the difference and would be sad to see you rocking some Dope As wheels only everyone to wonder why you went cheap on the kit which cost much less. Regardless the ugliness of*the kit, Authentic looks best.

(Drifting and tracking would be the only way id understand rocking a replica, but even then....No. Don't let you being a careless driver have an effect on the quality of your car.)

true ricky

but I track on occasion so for me its probably not the best idea.

Also you gotta take in the "**** happens" factor even when being careful catastrophe can strike.

I was reading that Mad Mike runs 18x10 in front to avoid rubbing on firewall on full lock. I think I will do the same next time around lol, my firewall is all buffed out right now

18x10 +5 fronts
18x11 +18 rears

now give me money.

Yup, one of my winter projects is rewiring the harness that my passenger wheel tore through.
Once relipped, my fronts will be similar size:
18x10 +4 fronts
18x11.5 +4 rears
