Coil bolt broken
Coil bolt broken
Hi you all, title says it all.
Was replacing my coil's wires and spark plugs and on the last coil (closest to the firewall) i was trying to loosen the bolt when the bugger just snapped.
I'm aware on how to take it out and drill it threw to replace it with a new bolt, but i am a little confused on how this works and was hopeing for some clarification.
So i drill the hole out, replace the bolt, secure the bolt down with a nut. (do the nuts and bolts type matter?) After that i then put the coil on and bolt the coil down with a second nut leaving my coil a little elevated. Does the coil have to be touching the plate it sits on?
I confused, thanks for the help.
