it is new far as i'm concerned. The rotors aren't new, but they don't touch anything.

i read the process in making the seals is incredibly complex.. thus the price tag.

probably cost a few hundred to make.

but if installed and tune right, Ceramics will last forever, and u will "probably" never get another pair again. So they gotta make sure they "get" enough funding ... Its always like that for stuff that last a long time (like a fridge, Gas Range, etc)

i was just wonderin and im thinkin about going fi
but nothing over 9 psi
my cousin who also has a rx8 plans to do alot of trackdays
he has the greddy turbo system with the mazdamaniac upgrade
should he need to go over 14 psi to get 375-400 rwhp?
also since im thinking of going fi
which would be the smoothest turbo system to go with that will reach 300-325 rwhp
i have act clutch and flywheel k&n air filter
and borla exhaust

yeah, my boss is quite the story teller, i really know nothing about 10mm seals but he tells stories of his old rx7 that he dumped 15 grand on at pettit and they had 10mm seals put in, among other things

In my opinion if you can't afford Ianetti ceramic apex seals, you should be using stock Mazda pieces. Forget anyone else's exist.
