Actually, I will bet it would be a copyright violation. I'm assuming the license one purchases to view the shop manuals on-line specifically says that making a copy of the data violates the license. Thus, making PDF files or TIFF files would be the unauthorized copying of copyrighted material...

Please send me the FTP address of where I could review the copies to determine what sort of violation we might be talking about...

That's what I would have thought, too, but I was pleasantly surprised when I read the agreement. Remember, you can "print" to PDF. The applicable section as follows (wonder if posting this is a violation ):

The shop manuals are available in Canada. They are identical to the USA spec.
