Hello everyone. I've been drooling over this 2006 RX8 6 speed manual in pristine condition. The only thing is it has 106k miles. It is priced very reasonable. All service records and car fax is provided. Would this be a smart buy? I've done tons and tons of research but I'm interested in hearing from actual experience. I see so many contradicting statements as to the rotary engine reliability after 100k miles. Thank you all for the input.

 

It all comes down to different sets of numbers. Compression, and asking price!

 

Does it have its original engine? If not, how many miles on the replacement? Do you have compression test results from a rotary-specific tester?

 

Don't have compression numbers yet and the asking price is 6500.
