Montgomery already has those 3.
There are no more to get.
Check with RB, Mazdatrix, etc. There are no more.
Maybe there will be more someday, but as of October 17th, 2009, Mazda stopped making S1 housings.
For those of us that order directly from Mazda, there are no more S1 housings to purchase.

Was that clear enough.

There are no more. You can't get them anymore.

Part of its appeal. Same goes for the Mitsu powerplant.

Well, not trying to say you're wrong or anything but, I can buy it from Mazda right now, well, at least thru MMS I can.

maybe its the same one from Montgomery? (Share database maybe?)

N3H1-10-B10C right? I checked it before, the status shows IC, so it "should be" in Mazda's own warehouse in California. I could be wrong tho.

Im trying to take a screen shot of the status but Mazda's database usually go down at night while they're updating their inventory. Will try to take it again tomorrow morning.

I mean Mazda might have stopped making it. but consider there are a lot of Rx-8 S1 still running around, I really doubt that.

More like they're just making them slowly and ship them super slowly(demand isn't high anyway)

Why I said that?

cuz I ordered a set of Stock shocks for my FC S5 about a month something 2 ago.

They have both front shocks and springs.

but the rear on the other hand(no springs too), nothing. but my experience is that if Mazda no longer makes them, they will cancel your backorder in a few days and notify you by email. but nope, no cancel, just back order.

After month something, I called them. and was told that Mazda ship heavy/bulky parts by boat. So it could take months for it to arrive.

So I just keep waiting.

and about a week something ago, I finally got my first rear spring, no shocks yet. then the first shock and 2nd spring came about another week after. Mazda still owes me a rear shock. Still waiting.

Just checked it again this morning, and noticed that Mazda "finally" updated their database, probably updated it last night cuz I didn't see the ETA when I was checking it yesterday.

new housing will be here by July 14th 2010.

This is not the only time that it took months. Before Mazda. Get their parts in. For example last October they were out of mazdaspeed bumper in primer. Took them 5 months to get it

So is there any conclusion if could be possible to replace a series I engine with Series II engine?..

I have a case with an RX-8, not mine. We have and RX-8 series I and a engine series II that was he already bought it without asking if is possible to put in his RX-8 series I..

Thank you so much,,.

Possible? Yes. Anything is possible. It is possible to install a steam engine in the RX-8 if you want.

It's all about money, and how much you can afford to spend on a swap. In the case of this exchange, it's far more costly than it's worth to most people, considering how many electronics have to be swapped (ECU, gauge cluster, wiring harness at a minimum, likely every other module as well if the Series1 variant doesn't know how to talk to a Series2 ECU, etc...). If you have a full donor Series2 car on hand, it would be easier, and you would have to go all the way down to exchanging keys and locks to avoid having to tow it to a dealer to have everything re-matched together. If you have to buy each module individually, expect a rather large bill from the dealer to get it all talking to each other.

in which case it would be easier just to buy an S2, LOL.

But you are correct....anything is possible with money.

steam engine? do we even have enough room for that ? or should I say, can the chassis handle the kind of weight a steam engine brings?

All depends in the size. There are small steam engines out there.
