Your driveway is pretty steep, I would say at least 4 guys. Tomorrow night good? I would like to do it tonight but Claudia will kill me if I spend another night wrenching

i think you should have oil in the omp lines already? Even though it didnt run long.
By street port--i take it that means the ports where not enlarged--right?

Yeah but he running the SOHN now, it needs to be primed a bit by squeezing the line from the OMP reservoir. It will do it on it's own if it drives though.

There was was no overlap, I made sure of that using a rotor.

I'm pretty sure that post I quoted has the issue outlined pretty well.

I'll bet good money that once this thing burns off all the Vaseline/oil/ and excess hylomar etc etc she will be purring pretty.

You only pull it until the engine starts. Don't try to leave it in gear being pulled after it is already running.

I think so too, hard starting rotaries after a rebuild is not that uncommon and most that were hard to start went on to be productive engines in rotary society.

well I certainly hope its the case.

I think I am good on the pull start when it catches and runs that is where I will sit for the next 20min (well maybe tow back in neutral and get a cold one....)

oh he has the sohn--didnt realize that--nevermind. lol.
If it cranks you can drive it back to where you want it--just dont put a heavy load on it right off.
Shady--you are probably right---it probably just needs a good cough.

I think we can all agree that the main issue is stemming from not properly draining the clutch fluid.
