The reason for Mazda Canada and US recommending 5w20 is due to Ford's involvement in Mazda, and its cheaper for them to have one oil than a bunch of different ones. It was also an attempt to try to get badly designed ineffecient Domestic engines to get better fuel consumption by using super thin oil which inherantly causes less drag internal to the engine. They really don't care if your engine doesn't have adequate protection, and are going on the gamble that most engines will still last to the 100,000km mark before failing even with oil that is too thin.

Well my Mazda dealership in Ga. told me to not use 5/20 ever use 5/30 year round . And of course there was those few porters who when gave me my keys and took money from me for oil change, said OMFG 5/30 is to thick for rotarys..................

You talking about Negative or positive ?
if its positive, thats hot enough to kill almost anything on earth (except for mad cow disease's protein, of which u need about 400-500 to kill)
if its negative, it will be absolute 0, meaning it can freeze anything, atoms will completely stop moving, then you can just smash it with a hammer and it will just break like ice cubes.

273 kelvin = 0 celsius = water freezing temperature
0 kelvin = absolute 0
