Nice Job, would be good if the red button controller could be "mounted" or hidden somewhere, rather than sitting on the Console.

BTW: The USA is the only nation that uses a TPM System (Tires pressure) AFAIK.
UK, Australia and Europe don't.

Also, to answer a question on Oil Temps and Oil Pressure, Mazda does not monitor these, they don't have the necessary sensors to monitor them, only an OIL Pressure WARNING Switch/Sensor.
Either way it is not on OBD II.
For Series I and Series II RX-8's.

It was just sitting on the console while I played with it. It can be made to fit in the ashtray, or inside the console. The enclosure is 80x40x20 (millimeters)

Hmm, crap. Well it is not a company name, and it isn't even close as far as services offered goes. I guess we'll just see. It is low volume enough that it will probably be under the radar anyway.

pieter3d- Great job man.
I know you mentioned finding a manufacturing facility to build your GOODbox, but if you intend to build a couple revised pilot PCBs and would like an extra hand soldering, I could help out.
I work for an SMT manufacture building PCBs so I have access to soldering stations.
I know those 0201 caps and that QFP can take time to do properly.
Just thought I would offer any assistance if you needed/wanted the help.
Keep up the good work!

Amazing work man, you really put a lot of effort into this project. I'm very interested in buying on of these for my speed3 and I'd like to see what your price comes to.

Also you've gained some attention on other forums as well http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=170969.0

You might want to consider getting on mazda3 forums .com I think if you post something about it you could get considerable interest. You'll have no problem selling 50 of these.

Once again great work man!

I used my fine-tip Weller to solder the 0603 (smallest parts on this board). 0201 would require much more expensive PCBs.

Ahh... couple of those components looked like 0201 or 0402... either way, if you need an extra hand in the future let me know.
Don't know anything about programming, but I could help on the PCB soldering side.
