I wonder why BMonkey removed his posts at the beginning of this thread a few days ago.

found the info i was looking for on the 09's 13b compared to the 08's (in the oil department). See attached specs below.
The oil pump was changed as well as a number of other smaller improvements.

you should have a mod go thru that topic and trim it down to only new info about the '09 rx8...it would be much better, too much new info is brought up in midst of normal conversation.

We should team up and diagram the entire technical side of the rx8's, with your EPC and my documentation/contacts we could literally dissect the whole car thru posts/topics.

Hi Kevin,
Sorry about the late reply...

Yes I am willing to give it a go, provided the Mods here believe it is "worthy" and "sticky it ", not much point in doing all the work to let it fade away".

I have a US 09 WS Manual in Paper (about 7 inches thick), I can only scan and then have to resize...a lot of work and time!?..
Have the 09 Service Highlights in PDF also thanks to a dedicated Mazda man somewhere in the Universe..

As I said the S2 RENESIS no longer has this separate Valve...well I can not find one...all I can find is an oil pressure SWITCH located on one of the EMOP's which obviously monitors (makes sure) there is oil pressure/oil available for the two EMOP's use.
So how do you check it to see if its working? oil pressure gauge?
Thanks,
