How about both Gauge pods..

I have both of them in stock.

Either way is win win, personally since they have the warning features on the gauges you are getting I like the RB Gauge pod. I never stare at the gauges anyway if they are flashing then I will look. It was what I was going to do personally.

We have another gauge pod coming here shortly that will be similar to Lotek's 3 pod options but will have a more stylish look. And it might be CF.....you never know

factory coils are a lot easier....

the BHR's are all connected to that bracket so it's very bulky to get in that small space.

You can save yourself a wad of money and time by doing this cooling upgrade instead of what you had planned ...

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/cooling-mod-idea-155235/

20 mins of hard charging (with turbo fitted) at the track and no overheating issues .....

i already have all those parts i posted pics of. i saved a wad of money on them since i bought everything second-hand from another forum member. the only thing i would have to pay full price for cooling is the BHR radiator.

but i'm trying to improve both oil and water cooling. plus it would be simpler for me to do it this way.

fair enough . Just a thought

BTW - oil temp and water temp tend to follow each other quite closely . Control water and you will help with the oil as well . So unless you are planning on doing some long distance circuit racing - what I propose will do what you want .

I dropped oil temps 20 to 30 degrees on track day with a second oil cooler.

When you come to Orlando I will talk to you about some cooling secrets that are easy to do that significantly drop temps.

picked up my gauges, gauge pod, gauge sender adapters, and brake pads yesterday.

can anyone help me with mounting the gauges in the RB gauge pod? i don't have any instructions and the brackets i have aren't going to work.

so far i already installed the BHR coils. next things to install with be the oil pan, oil cooler, gauge sender adaptersgauge pod and a few gauges.

i have a rb pod and prosport gauges and have played with them a bit. i did not see a problem.

if you are talking about the curve in the gauge pod, it is a bit odd, i plan on painting the side of the gauges black so it does not show..

If you stop by, I'll give you a hand. You will not be able to use the mounting cups supplied with all 3 gauges. You can use one of them on the middle gauge and then you can either purchase a metal bracket from racing beat or fabricate one to secure the outer two brackets. I purchased mine from Racing Beat, but I made one for Dan out of a small piece of wood. Also, instead of painting the sides of the gauges, you can just make a single wrap of electrical tape around each gauge so they blend in more.

the curvature is fine. they are just so close together there is no way to use the provided brackets or cups.

Yeah, you can use the provided cup for the middle gauge, then use a small bracket to attach the outer two. I have duty today, but I can pop mine out and take a pic on Tuesday if you like. I know I got my bracket from Racing Beat for about $10.

new pics of new parts.

Hawk ceramic brake pads, Prosport premium series gauges(oil press/temp, water temp, EGT, and electrical boost), Prosport oil sandwich plate, RB water temp adapter, 3/8"NPT-1/8"NPT adapter.

Agency Power black silicone radiator hoses(still waiting for the 3rd one)

i'd like to say thanks to Brice of Fluid Motorsports. he gave me a free shirt for buying so many parts.
