So Jeff, What would be the best way to get that fuel pressure guage fom you?

I think I'm having a fueling issue.
I tried starting her up monday and nada. Pulled the plugs and they were dry. I checked out the filter sock and I found small shavings of metal in the fuel basket. They were not there 2 weeks ago.
So all i can do is test the fuel pressure and see what happens. OR open the fuel pump again and swap in the OE pump. I'll wait to do this after the fuel pressure test.

So unless something magical happens, No Boosted Banana at SSXIII.

Well all in all the Boosted Banana is done.
I had a Walbro fail, almost out of the box. It would flow but no pressure.
I swapped in the OE Arram back in and saw 60 psi on the Fuel Gauge.

Replaced the Walbro, So the pump is resolved. back when it was though to be required to drill out the Siphon tube, I did. Whoops that only drains the left side of the tank faster.

So I need to replace the siphon. Only then can I do something with the 8.

 

So is this why you arent bring the Banana to SS13???

Dam, I may never get to drive a turboed a/t.....Well maybe you'll have it ready for the WHiV meet.

To answer the lingering "WTF is not going on?" question, I waiting for the arrival of a siphon from our Exalted Senior Admin StealthTL.
I'm expecting it to arrive this week.

 

Update:
The Siphon arrived Saturday. Went in Saturday night and She is back a running state! Woo Hoo! My son and I took 5 laps around the block and so far so good. ECT was 192 -194 doing 10 15 mph. Dropped to 187-190 going about 20-25 mph. The under tray hasn't been installed yet.

So I need to visit a gas station and add some real pre-mix to the tank.

Tuning to start after the 2nd drive cycle. 1 down 1 to go.

 

Good to hear that it's back among the living.....Now I have to wait until WHiV4 to get a chance to drive it.

 

It would be nice to drive it that far! The only thing "mechanicaly" I really have to shake down is the change in the T-Stat housing. just to make sure all the coolant paths function as the OE's if not better.

I know that when the fans kick on the ECT will report the decrease in coolant temps. So I know that part of the flow path is working.

 

I want to go for a ride in this little beast when we see you in Vegas.

i know u had HKS exhaust but do u run a cat at all with the system and also how loud is your wastegate and turbo when spooling im justwondering..

No Cat and haven't started the tuning process. It starts to sound evil around -10 in. Hg
