Duh. now if the cabin smells like massage oil then it's all good.
We have other plans for near the washer bottle location.

So you cut up your wire harness, located the wires for the OMP plug, moved those wires/plug to the glove box and then patched up your wire harness? I'm just tryin' to get a visual here of how you accomplished this.

yep. there are 8 wires in all to extend. I already had a hole from when I had the EMU piggyback pluggled in. The hole is right behind the windsceen washer bottle. So that made it easier to decide where it was going to be placed.
Elliot had wire from a left over motec harness that was used for this extension. All the connections were cleaned, soldered, heat shrunk and wrapped.

Oh so close now!
So this intake better pass the MM Airflow Path certification process.
Still waiting on a updated basemap. So since the intake is done, maybe the map will "show up" soon.

What's a good source for the turbo H20 inlet now that the small nipple that used to go to the TB inlet is deleted?
See image.

Wait, are the thermostat housings for automatics/manuals different? Just saw a picture of another t-housing that didn't have the nipples at all, don't know if it was an auto or not.

I am just moving that little nipple far away from the turbo manifold. I don't want ANY rubber/silicone hoses within 5" of the turbo system. I do not know if there are any differences in the T-stat neck, all of the cars I have worked on have been the same. Maybe the Euro cars don't have it?

Angry WTF ! Damn Electrical Gremlins !

Well, I updated the AP Dongle, Loaded the new map MM did for me. Turblown and Nick filled the oil. Connected the batt, voltage looked good and when we went to turn it over all we got was a click of a relay.

Error Codes:
Tcm
P0748 Pressure control soleniod
P0753 Solenoid "A"
P0758 Solenoid "B"
P0763 Solenoid "C"
P0768 Solenoid "D"

I thinking either the TCM gave up the ghost(gawd I hope not) or something some where isn't plugged in right.
The Immobilizer flashses like it should with the batt connected. And I do have a Viper alarm plugged in.

NOW it did start up 3 months ago when Turblown did a comp test.

Change between then and now:

extended the omp harness
fed a 8 ga. ground wire through the harness boot
fed a 4 ga positive wire through the harness boot

I get no errors pertaining to the OMP. I didn't get a chance to unplug the OMP just in case i DID wire something sdrawkcab (backwards).

I also still have to look at the wire map and see if any of the stuff that changed interacts with other sensors hot and ground busses.
I did unplug and rest the connections on the TCM. No luck there. Hmmm.

Oh so very damn close and then this happens. Damn computers.

just thought of this:
maybe with all of the jacking of the engine up and down it loosened the AT harness.

My guess is a wiring problem. We had a problem where the car wouldn't start, wouldn't turn over, etc. It would throw the eshaft position sensor code. Long story short, an indentation in the insultation of the wire going from the eshaft sensor to the PCM had a small indentation in it. Not a crack, not a broken wire, etc, just a small indentation in the insulation. When you pulled that wire away from the rest of the harness, the car ran fine. So we replaced that wire and the problem hasn't occured since.

Well the TCM is seperate from everything else so that should make it easier to diag. Of course this happens near the end of my allotted time i had to spend on the 8. Yeah, it's a wire somewhere. just which one is a totally different scenario.

nice, i just started reading this thread, i went thru a full custom build too, i actually need to tune my car still to see how much i can get out of it. question, anything tryed to melt with the build? i had to replace some plastic oil lines on mine make them in copper. they leaked oil all over the manifold and smoked all over.

Nothing has melted yet on the new build. Hasn't officially fired up yet. Did you do a top or low mount?

If it was a top mount how close was the downpipe to the OMP?

Now on the Greddy when i had it installed it burned up the under body sound damping spray on tar crap.

Oh and Ritchie, I have changed my mind on the HP goal.
= more than what I know what to do with.

Damn F*%king electronics!
Well the TR Switch continuity passes. I did find a loose ground, fixed it and same codes. Still have to check the harness, kinda hard to do that with one person.

So If it makes it SSXIII, cool. if not, oh well. There is next year.

Thanks Jorge.

It makes it difficult to TS only having Saturday and it being at Turblown's shop. Also the current AZ heat saps the willingness to work it also.
I know many people want to see it, as do I. I'm not willing to rush fixing this "bug" just to have the Turbo'ed Banana at SSXIII.
My Wife and Son are coming as well so we can hit up Disney Land after SSXIII.
A proper shake down of the systems is crucial. I'll never hear the end of it other wise.

So I need to trust my ride to get us there and back with no issues.
