Knightsports Supercharger Kit
oil filters are recommended to be changed every two years. they use this brand http://www.magnafilter.com.au can be bought off ebay for around $30.00
you want the one that looks like this page

I'm not sure if they have different oil line sizes. I'll measure mine and get back to you.

For me, I would rather just change the filter every 6 months or so than adding a magnet to it and try to use it for 2 years.
for this supercharger a 2 years service interval is fine. my oil is still looking pristine and is just due for it's first service.
we are not adding a magnet. the company specifies a magnetic filter. there is probably a very good reason they want the magnet due to the friction drive.

and what I'm trying to say is buying a magnet and a filter will cost a similar amount to a purpose made filter and your getto device may or may-not work as the manufacture intended. so why risk a very expensive SC over a few dollars?
u gotta remember, there is not much to be filtered in a SC oil system. this is also why you dont need to change it as often.
ok a update.
Almost all the parts are here
Just waiting on BHR to finish building the radiator.
The installation is going to be stalled till July, as i have my gf's 21st in end of june
(i completely forgot.....)
So gonna take the money out to take her overseas as thats what she really deserves.
If your saying wTFG#&%^) gf > over ?!?!
Reason is she has always been against me modding my car, but she still buys me things such as my rims/gauges/oil cooler
So its time to repay her.
Anyways, the feed center gauge pod will arrive next week or so, im going to install the first 3 gauges, oil pressure/temp, water temp.
I want to see the temps my car is running at N/A so i can better judget the cooling management when its FI.
I have searched the information from others here, but i think a real life observation at my altitude, driving pattern, weather will warrant a better result.

No it's not.
it's not the form of FI bing used that makes it safe or unsafe. Its the quality of the tune that makes the applied form of FI safe or unsafe to the motor.
So if it's a great quality tune that is done properly, all should be fine.
