Turbo Efficiency Range for RX-8
Complete noob here and know close to nothing about FI but just throwing this out there;
what about using the MM turbo with another kits piping, since the turbo he selected was tested and seemed to be the best fit for this car? <--(from his opinion)
Knowing he tunes for torque rather HP wouldnt this turbo be the platform to begin upgrading from? Is it even possible?
Sorry for the noobness.

Wow.
Its 40mm longer and 40mm wider than the 3071.
When I played with the 3582. I couldn't even get it to fit between the motor and the floor pan WITHOUT the manifold.
Not to mention the motor mount, intake manifold and downpipe.
That's a 600 HP turbo.
i can get that... lol
i mean explain them... so that ppl wanting to attempt finding better matches can understand what characteristics to expect for spooling
I might be mistaken but I thought Auzoom was using this kit? www.promaz.com.au
nice looking kit. very oem

On the left is the minimum exhaust flow to achieve the desired Pr on the bottom.
guess its time to start calculating mass flow for WOT/100% load across the rpm band
yet again, thanks for catching me up. i hope im not the ONLY one benefitting from this
You got an 3582 mounted in the GReddy position?

Better polish those apples for the teacher!
No, actually, from looking at the pics on the site, it does look like a 3582 in the picture.
I'm curious what the cold-side plumbing looks like.
