so from what i can see, most of the effiencency is basically in the middle. towards the redline, the efficiency goes down to around 65-68%, therefore it heats up the compressed air more and it takes more to compress the air correct?

btw, dont mean to hijack your thread tdid

Doesn't take more - the air is hotter, less dense and more likely to ping...

Good first start - you're ahead of me; I took 6 months to come to grips with it.

Wow, the fact that it's real makes it all the better. It reads like a line out of a Mel Brooks film.

I bought it because I keep ALL my stock parts so I didn't want to tap it for the drain. I have heard 2 other benefits tho. One is the extra capacity and the other is an added cooling effect. I will have to wait to see if there is any additional cooling but I am changing soo much that I probably won't be able to tell anyway.

The cooling benefits from this oil pan are probably akin to the rwhp benefits of a lightweight/underdrive pulley kit. Mathematical benefit but hard to measure.

That's a heel of a lot prettier than what's left of my old Turbonetics unit.
Then again, mine been on three cars in something like 8 or 9 different configurations.
At least you've got this to look forward to:
