I am impressed with the car to be honest after watching the videos, seeing it keept pace with a 911 is something to be proud of. I understand the car was built with one purpose in mind.

Apologies if I came off as a dick, without the link I just assumed it was another hack job race car.

I was proven wrong.

No worries man. I think I have some great parts that have little use, I have a crap ton of spares and hubs and two rear diff housings, one with KAAZ in it too. Just got to get organized and find homes for it all.
Do Pettit kits usually go with the ecu as well or just as a SC kit that someone would bolt on?
Cheers, MJ

usually just the kit
most people are hesitant of using aftermarket ECUs
what are the gear ratios for the diffs?

What's the gear ratio, in that 5 speed?

That thing sounds intense.

scroll down this page, it's the Circuit racing gear set
RotorSports Drivetrain

car also uses steel driveshaft, (I know it sounds atrocious) but the carbon one splintered on a jump landing when the car was run relatively stock.

I'm doing some research and preparing to make a listing of the parts in the FS section.
If you were talking about buying a Pettit motor, I'm assuming you'd like to see it run in the car and see it start up and such right?
I'm told cold start is where you learn a lot about a rotary?
Thanks, MJ

Still rocking my 2004 Pettit Racing RX8. Only one Road Race early this year and the rest monthly local FAST Autocross due to budget cuts (redoing my 93 RX7 FD).

Car sit in a storage all the time except for once a month go over and AutoX event.

It is time to get new set of tires and not sure if to stick with the current Ventus RS3 or go with the new BFGoodrich Rivals.......decision, decisions

Here are a couple of AutoX vids...enjoy

Haven't posted in here in a while. But just wanted to say thanks to Greg for making me a custom SC pulley the car is running great at 7psi consistent. Car feels super fast and runs like stock. I'm on the Pettit tune. I'll probably stay on it for a while. Going to just enjoy the car as is. I have no idea the power I'm putting down but my best friend has a 2007 Evo X with 321 whp. I know driver counts a lot in a race. But I beat him all the time on pulls from 2nd gear and up. From a dig that awd kicks ***. anyways I'm going to clean up the engine bay and start doing a couple of more reliability mods. As soon as the car is picture worthy I'll start posting some pictures and videos of my progress. Thanks a lot to Greg tho. If it wasn't for him I never would have got the SC running.

That's awesome! Congrats Omar
And thanks to Greg...great guy
Once you get the realiability mods get it out on the track even if it's just a DE event...you will be amazed
Let me know if you need anything
If I make it up I hope to see the car at DGRR

Thanks man, also let me not forget to mention keck03 for coming through with that original Pettit crank pulley. Because the one that came with my kit was tore up, heavy, and horrendous. So I got this long winter ahead of me to start hoarding parts. And I haven't posted much lately because I wasn't using the car. Now that it's back up and running I have the urge to troll now lol

An EvoX is a lot heavier and has more drivetrain drag than an RX8 so you don't need as much power to pull it. 7 psig is probably around 260 whp.

When you get bored with that power call me
There are a few ways to get the power up in the 300whp range with the low boost setup
