As one of the first turbo 8 owners who purchased the Interceptor-X when Scott released it, I'd like to say that you will not be disappointed in Mazsport's products. What all early Interceptor-X owners know so well is that Scott is a total perfectionist. He will not release anything until it meets his high standards - perfection. would you really want anything else? be patient - it's worth it.

That said, Scott, I'm interested in this new set-up and can't wait to learn more about your latest work of wonder.

Double D sends...

from everything I'm seeing I can't help but get more and more excited. Since reliability and 'perfection' seems to be scotts "thing" this helps alleviate my fears and nervousness on going turbo with this kit if it comes out soon.

I cant wait for the offical final results, because as it stands now this is probably the most perfect kit available for the people who crave a more serious power.

my Mantis log on is screwed up and i can't post under that screen name. so i logged on under my covert name, who ah ah aha (evil sinister voice). and i do eat men, at the autocross.....LOL...

i am teased by visions of 3rd gen beauty all day. even a re-pu this week, but no 3 rotor in my 8, strickly NA...with a few modifications....

..there is that Mazsport turbo coming out.....I might want a piece of the HP hunger by then.....but who knows

i rode in epitrochoid's greddy turbo 8 and wasnt really hypnotized. it felt so smooth. like a factory turbo. don't get me wrong, it was great, but after riding around in evilmiata's PR GT35 turbo of doom...well you know what i mean.....

i am used to the go kart feeling of a Flying Miata turbo....you know, where you feel the car going into warp speed.....

I am hoping for a bit more kick from Scott's turbo....plus, I dont have the HP addiction yet.....right?

why you gotta knock my baby? she's hurt right now! :P

FWIW, when you rode with me my intercooler was heat soaked to hell from 3 hours of driving, and there were 4 people in the car

she did run smooth, but it will be a while before I commit to such a big project.

I want to do the same thing. I have a nitrous kit that's taking up space in my garage, and I don't think Scott is a huge fan of injecting N2O.

you should convert that to a methanol injection setup...not sure how much of the hardware can be used though

I'm as excited as everyone else about this kit, but i'm also interested in how all of the new power will be put to the ground. Will we need to change our gearing to avoid lighting up the tires? I want more power, but not at the expense of driveability. By the way, i'm not being negative, I just do not know that much about tuning cars.

i would assume 1st gear will be pretty much useless

Thats no biggie because pettit racing is gonna do new gears as an option for their SC kits. So that might be something worth picking up.
