New Turbo Kit!
4 Attachment(s)
As some of you know we have been working on a "Major Horsepower Upgrade" and here are the results from the latest dyno runs. All runs were performed in fifth gear using 93 pump gas and of course our Interceptor-X E.M.S. We have been asked for an upgrade to the GReddy Turbo Kit, so these results are using the GReddy intercooler and up-tube for customers that don't want to remove the bumper cover for a fresh install. I will have a complete component list, cost and ETA soon. thanks,Scott
1. 5 psi boost controller off 2. 7.5 psi 3. 9 psi 4. Shooting for 12 psi but the ignition system is giving up. |
300WHP on 5psi? Holy Crap!!!
Now that is impressive stuff. |
nice.. I may hold off on the idea of getting higher gearing on my NA car.
|
Wow, nice numbers.

Looks Good.......More particulars would be appreciated.........

BTW at the shop this is what we refer to as a torque shelf, the term curve would indicate a noticable drop in performance:rock:
|
wow...
Is this going to be only an upgrade, or a full kit? |

Very interesting Scott. Just curious though, Manuel from Puerto Rico used to run his Greddy unit all the way up past 12 psi, but stated that it rapidly loses it's efficiency at above 12-13 psi & becomes a heat unit. Were you able to bypass that...new housing on the turbo ? Can't wait to see the components of this one.
|
Yeah Scott! You really have my attention on this one! I want to know a price (ballpark). I really want to see pics and vids! This looks very good. nice job!
|
a consistent 200 ft / lbs of torque from 5 psi. That's fuckin great. Shit that alone will make a world of a difference.
Does it make me gay if I'm being turned on by this? |

He's using a different, larger turbo than the GReddy T618Z. |
Great numbers. I believe this now rivals the PTP kit. Can't wait to see some more details about the kit.

I have a few questions:
1. Are these Dynos to-the-wheels or have they been adjusted to be at-the-crank? 300HP on 5PSI is very impressive. 2. The 7.5 PSI and 12 PSI curves have glitches in them, but not the 9PSI. Is there a good reason for this or is there a fuel management issue your guys are still working out? 3. You mentioned "Shooting for 12 psi but the ignition system is giving up." Did you mean full system? It seems a little odd that the igniton would give out early. Why would it care about what boost you were running? I have many standard questions that I'm sure will be answered in your official product announcement. Sounds promissing. -Mr. Wigggles |

I wouldn't mind a good 100 ponies or so. Show us a reasonable price.
|
so..... hows that 4 porter coming along?
:mdrmed: Any info on that in regards to hp/tq numbers? |
Nice work, Scott.
That curve is so linear, it looks stock, lol. I look forward to more details :) |
