CHRA has been purchased, it was 5% off so I just had to jump on it.

The CHRA I posted before was actually the wrong size even though the ad said t618z rebuild. The turbine was off by 5mm all around.

The correct turbine and assembly is actually from the typhoon it seems.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Turbo-Cartri...item2a154ac937

Also it may not fit at all, but the guy was cool and seems to have a good handle on the English language so if it doesn't workout I'll return it.

As a side note I know Bryan at BNR has a typhoon and experience with Mitsu turbos, so I kind of added it all together and it seemed to make sense in my head.

I should get it in about a week, then the housing is off to the machine shop and the water line kit will be ordered. 9k hooked me up with a spare pan to get a tap into. The samco hoses are 3 weeks out as well.

all I need now is...

a blow off valve

boost controller

wastegate

t-clamps

so if anyone has any of this stuff lying around and wants to work out a deal, trade for parts or service to their car please let me know!

Update I now have BOV, and I am working out the details on a water/oil line kit from the ebay seller.

I have a small setback financially due to a failed suspension project. I am on course to resurrecting that though, fully built car is almost here!!

also I have officially exceeded the value of my car in upgrades purchased and am still 3 years away from paying it off! Go me!

Well I've been workign on this project all week long.

Its been a giant pain in the ***, I am finishing the upper arms tomorrow and will have the car back together sometime this week.

In other news!

The New CHRA is on its way with oil and water lines, took me forever to get the kit but I wanted to save on shipping.

Next up is a boost controller and getting all the little crap dealt with (ceramic coating, downpipe wrap, compressor housing honed, etc etc).

Ok well that's it for now I'm off to Philly on Friday hopefully I'll have all the parts I need by then!

Any greddy owner should just read 9k's thread and we would have no use for any other build threads at all. We would just get the lovely completed threads instead.
