Heck especially when you keep buying more parts that have nothing to do with going turbo!

Brett's polite way of calling me a pansy for not getting a bigger wheel.

that's another $165... Not worth it, I can do that later when I get bored of my 20g.

Indeed, But its just not in the cards mate!

I would need to get the new wheel, send it off to get balanced.an extra $165 Not including the boost controller, honing of the compressor housing, ceramic coating of the manifold, t bolt clamps, mounting the whole thing etc etc etc.

I just don't have the time or money to drop another $165 on the project. I'm getting a balanced assembly as it is tearing it apart and having to pay to get it rebalanced just seems silly.

trying to get this complete before tuning takes place is hard as it is.

I inquired about a 57 trim from my turbo builder too.... at the time I didnt want to drop another 250 cash for it, but damnit it would have been worth it. But then again, I would need upgraded fuel pump, injectors, radiator, etc... and that was something I had not have built into my budget for the install. life = need more money

Turbine comparison

Old

New

It's not a major difference, the wheel is slightly longer. The exducer and inducer are the same size.

Compressor side obviously is the same size just 2 mm off.

Yeap, just need to get the compressor housing honed out.

Turbine side fits almost like a glove, still not sure what that 1 mm difference will make in the length of the wheel...

Got the water and oil line kit as well, came with new gaskets and all the fittings i need!

Shady : looking good man . At least the 20g will flow enough to make a reliable 260-270 - so it won't be no slouch .
