belt slippage, blower comparisons... none of it matters. Unless I'm badly mistaken, the blower and its charts were posted long ago. That alone is all the information one needs to know what the kit is capable of. And as Brettus said, it was never going to be ground breaking, so why does it matter?

I exaggerated - Tubingchamp mentioned he had his two months ago .
But still , around 2 yrs since the first guys ordered their kits and still it seems no-one has fitted one ?.

Maybe Hymee is in a reverse race with MM ?

There was one more fitting that I am expecting to arrive in a week or two anyways

We're working on that

He's promised me 10 virgins for it, I think that equates to about 6K, but I'm trying to get him to throw in a moose for good measure.

Let's do this man. My hands are itching to wrench. Any tips on installation? Are there any documented installs of this kit anywhere? I searched a bit but did not find much.

So now that I know Hymee changed the oiling system to a closed set up what do you guys recommend for oil in the SC?

I wonder if I can run 0w40 just like I do in my car?

Also do any of you think the oil in the SC should be cooled? I live in a very hot environment. It would not be hard to hook up a small oil cooler and pump.

BTW thanks for shipping my unit Tubingchamp!

we pettit guys use a synthetic 50 wgt oil. doesnt need cooling. but the gear case does need venting. if you track dont fill it to the full mark, fill it only a tad below that mark.
welcome to the club!

I don't have the SC on hand yet but that's good if it does have a level indicator. I doubt it could overwork a good 40-50 wt synthetic. It would be simple to mount a temp sensor on the SC Hoss.

Shipped it yesterday 9K, on a REG.

Got a call from the UPS store I sent it to, they shipped it this morning so it should be en-route soon

Hoping for a tracking number soon, I gave them my e-mail to send it to, and made sure to ask him for the tracking number, don't have anything yet though.
