Looks similar to what I installed on my car. I got mine ceramic coated inside and outside as it sounded like the the right thing to do. So far things are going well. However, be prepared to deal with heat issues further down the pipe.

I still need to do something to protect the transmission as I can feel the cup holder is a lot hotter than before.

Better flow will also mean more noise.

good point and I think hoss will be running the 09 trans which will be even closer to the trans. The heat has to go somewhere.
One builder is telling us to not heat wrap or coat the header as he thinks that causes the exhaust port to run a little hotter---maybe?
Just use a shield.
Nice looking header--i just wish that someone would make one with midpipe that doesnt bottle neck the flow.

Good point about the tranny Denny. I will not use header wrap and am not a big fan of that product in our application. I would coat the inside of the header but not the outside. I may try and use both a blanket and a heat shield and now that Denny brought up his good point I may apply some sort of HD thermal mat to the parts of the tranny that are applicable.

I was thinking the same thing ... seems like they could have improved on that a bit., especially when the chamber of the collector is so short, probably could have tapered off the outlets a bit more.

You get what you pay for, a proper merge costs as much as the cheapo header. However, given the dynamics of the Renesis zero overlap timing and exhaust port configuration it no more matters than keeping the exhaust piping of each port separate. At least with regard to an NA/SC header.

O yeah, Ill get right on that lol. It took more then a few months to receive.... their is no way I am giving these bad boys up.

Nope completely different bump stop setup. The uprights/cups/tophats or whatever you want to call them are new OEM parts. Its funny seeing the different brand springs front and rear and what appears as stock replacement Bilstein HD's at fist glance. The set up is not very "fancy" looking lol.

those mounts are notorious for resulting in a high seating position and helmet interference with the interior roof panel, hence the comment

if you have a sunroof it will be an even bigger issue

If you are 5'6" ish you will be fine...much taller than that and you will be on the roof if you have a sunroof especially like Team said.

Too bad...I have a set you could have had..they are taking up space in the shop

EDIT....should be OK

Another month more parts and work to be added. This time some exciting stuff! Details on my engine build.

Parts used: 2005 core with 60k, new OEM bearings, Viton O-ring seals, NRS once piece ceramic seals, New OEM side seals.

Cryo treatment: Side seals, side seal springs and apex springs.

WPC treatment: rotor housings, irons, eccentric shaft, bearings. side seals and side seal springs.

It is also receiving a rotating assembly balance and full port job. The assembly and work is all being done by Brian Cain of BDC motor-sports fame. Brian has been a pleasure to work and will continue to get my business many years to come.

Some pics Brian took for me:
