Me? I bought my stuff in feburary last year and put it in in June. I did it all myself with hand tools and close to zero rotary and turbo experience. I just did my reaserch and wanted to get my hands dirty, everyone had a first time. I am 100% happy with my install. I'm moving to georgia and wouldn't mind helping you for a beer or two when your in Florida as long as it works with my army schedule.

Other people here could point you to pros in the area.

We should be rolling out our drop-in replacement assembly (and loaner pump ring removal tool) in about a week. I am stocking up on new OEM pump assemblies and Walbro motors right now. Once the product is ready we will be adding it to our website so you will all be able to order through the normal channels.

For the DIY-types, we have a darned good price on the Walbro pump motor at $90 (shipped).

What that means is simply that Mazda was able to wring out as much power from an N/A rotary engine as is physically possible, and the fact that the RX-8 tends to dominate the racing classes where staying as close to showroom stock is mandated might be considered proof positive.

Lemme put it this way; why don't the Evo's, STi's, S2000's, 350/370Z's, and other cars, come from the factory with that additional power that seems so easy for them to achieve when mildly tweaked?

When you get the RX-8 on a track and drive the beejezus out of it, it performs quite nicely and, with a well-executed set of mods, will actually impress those who own those other platforms I mentioned.

Some Puerto Rican friends of mine once told me that they love the rotary engine because it is an "underdog". Well, the RX-8 is about as "underdog" as we can get.

I almost choked when I saw the OPs name back on the forums. By far the worst person I've ever dealt with in a private sale. Literally expected me to install a turbo AND tune his car through PMs and my voicemail(when no such service was offered). Guy would call and leave me multiple urgent, hysterical, nasty messages within minutes of eachother everytime he had the most basic question.
Gems like threatening me because my kit was "broke"(he installed the Maf backwards) and "My tuner wants to know which thing he changes to give it more fuel?" followed by " My tuner is the best in the state, he knows more than you!....."

So glad he passed my turbo kit on to someone with a clue.
