Exhaust and re-tune

Hi,

I have a 04 mazda rx8 with a Greddy kit boosted to about 8 psi. Car is tuned from mazdamaniac via the accessport. I am wondering if I will I need a re-tune if I put a catback exhaust on the car? Not performance wise but from an engine safety standpoint.

thanks,

if it is just a cat back then probably not. You will probably be ok.

MM would probably be the best person to ask during his next tune night

Do you have an AFR gauge? If so, what are your AFRs like in boost?

so, you don't trust your tuner enough to ask *him* rather than the numnuts here?
