You also haven't seen any dynos over 9 psi. So unless you think 9 psi is the max you can run, then your statement is misleading at best.

and if that 307 whp is from my dyno run, I'll remind you again that the boost controller wasn't even configured.

I ran 12 psi for several months, I didn't get a chance to revisit the dyno, but it's a lot faster than at 9 psi. Similar to stock vs greddy kit in terms of how much faster it feels.

As long as you're OK with your argument being silly, I'm OK with it too.

In fact, I wouldn't call that an argument. More of an admission that you can't back up what you're saying and you're just prodding to try to get the desired results.

Brettus, are you still upset because I tricked you into going turbo? You know you should have gotten a supercharger

190 torques would have been k-rad.

As has been said repeatedly, PSI isn't really meaningful. 9 psi on the greddy turbo is different then 9 psi on the 3071.

12 psi generally speaking, isn't too big a deal. However you will want to have proper supporting mods. For example: you might find that your fuel requirements exceed the capacity of your stock injectors.

Chicken did "ok", his AFR wasn't that hot - and his initial timing was so-so... but he did beat 307.

Or so I heard...

Yeah, only 30 HP and 50 ft/lbs or so. Pretty negligible.

The point mysql was making (i think) is that . At 9 psi the 3071 flows more air than greddy . Well admittedly the greddy was at 10psi for that dyno but up until it runs out of puff the numbers are pretty much the same .....

are you talking about that one guy who had the only greddy turbo that made 300? a fluke like that doesn't count unless it's reproducible. For all we know, the dyno machine wasn't calibrated.

Wait someone actually broke 300 with a stock GReddy snail? The highest I've seen was 293.

I think he was talking about my dyno .

Neither of us really knows what the other is talking about but we know we like to wind each other up so it's all good fun .

Haha well yours isn't a stock GReddy so it's not a real comparison.

It is not meaningful if you're comparing one turbo to another. Yea, 9 psi would be different between the two turbo's I knew there would be different variables then results since I had two different turbo kits on my 350z and found a few surprises which also seemed to me were many flaws throughout the process but it's obviously not a RX8. Of course, you are right about supporting mods. Still learning about my RX8, I assume.....
