true, but it only needs 1 take, so i think 2 cameras would suffice. and im sure there is 2 people with video cameras in their local rx8 group. Then im sure someone there was edited at least 1 video.

Just don't think of it as racing. People race to see who has the faster car, and who is the better driver. This is just a comparison test to see how much faster the turbo'ed 8 is.

a video showing about how much room will be in between the cars in a half mile stretch of road.
I always loved that video - wow and wow

You can do the test on your own with a cheap compression tester. Get the screw in kind, remove the valve at the end so that it doesn't hold the reading. Then plug it into the spark plug port and try to start the car. You can see the needle readings and it should bounce up and down 3 times for the 3 rotors, they should all read about the same.

Ask Christian for details...no need to use the electronic one from Mazda...I would say this works better.

I will clarify...it is a better value :D probably more data with the digital one

$25 versus $2000 for the Mazda tester.

haha oh man.. thanks for the advice but whether my car's engine is in good condition or not... i need to go to my tuner to get my turbo kit or fix my engine.... or if everything is looking good, to have it installed there.

Told my tuner my concerns and he said he'd test it out for $45 which i can definitely live with...

but I also called up mazda to see how much a compression reading would cost... they wanted $150 at one place and $190 in another...

KDR > Mazda lol

dave @ kdr has installed mazsport's turbo (who also said is top notch kit) for other rx8 customers who easily got passed 300 whp so i'm hoping that i won't have dyno issues.

staticlag is doing a great job doing a play by play DIY with pictures and since i'm getting it professionaly installed, everything will be video recorded from parts of the install, dynos, street runs and i'll difinitely post dyno results

all i need is an upgraded ignition.... come on chris, charles, and mm

I can edit video, it would just 2-3 of those digicams to get usable daytime footage.

I pulled the bumper last night to test fit the intercooler. I couldn't get it on, but I didn't try very hard. I'll give it a good try tonight. There may be a mounting bracket issue, or it could just be me being dumb.

The way the bracket is made it is like an upside down "L" so that the intercooler doesn't wobble like it would if it was mounted with a true L shaped bracket. Fitment is tight and I didn't really bother fiddling with it last night.

So far so good.

Feel free to call us if you have an issue. It is a very tight fit. The nice thing is the bumper bar actually assists in securing the intercooler...but it is really the 'L' bracket that is holding it up...that is why it is such a heavy duty bracket.

Good question!

If you look at the floor, I just take stuff off and try and put it back on as best as I can.

That looks great...no sleeper look for you :D

I'm sending you a set of stealth turn signals for the front. Now you'll really have a clean front end...silver, blue, and fast.
