planning on it yeah.

here's the stealth mod of the day. stock 04 washer fluid bottle modified to accept water/meth output and level sensor. it'll also still work to wash the windows!

and the best part? the AEM pump mounts perfectly behind the bottle out of sight..

Hey Mike, look at the last few pages of the IO&M for the compression tester. I'm looking for the calibration test specifics.

We both left a little around 3:20. I wanted to get home in time to take my son to buy some fireworks. How is your car running?

I don't need to search - I realize that YOU had a problem with the clip.
But no one who operates that clip correctly will have the problem you had.

Oh yeah, it's the 4th tomorrow...

Shaun did a compression test for me last night (thanks Kev for the loan of your tester). Looking like I'm a candidate for a new engine. Rough idle, power loss, hard starts when it's hot (but not often yet). Worse since the Vegas drive after I had all those problems driving in the heat across death valley. My numbers were a little better than Shaun's though

That was one thing I was wondering as well. Is there a way to make sure the tester is calibrated and not just reading low? Just trying to make sure there is no doubt that U Mazda could get a "better" reading.

Good Morning Charles! Now get back to work. It was a pleasure to meet you and E yesterday. You guys do meticulus work.

Shaun, the tester should be accurate to 2%. It was calibrated last year, but I was curiuos if it needs to be done again.

now you have me confused - I thought it was just push-click-done . The part where you damage them is in taking them off IE overstretching ..... What did I miss ?

I am glad yall have reached that level of talent. Ya'll have worked hard for it. Congrats.
For me and the rest of the struggling shade tree, redneck want a be's I still think it is better to change out that part. Its not cheap at around $30 but it is one hell of a lot cheaper than having your motor blow or car burn. Unfortunately there are multiple examples of this happening.
Its a bad design for a high pressure fuel line.
Sorry for the thread jack OP, lets get back to the subject going on-- fire that baby up yet?

I kinda expect feast or famine. Easy's is kinda famine right. Something catastrophically wrong right out of the box. This was a motor that was strong for the last 2 years and then all the sudden went south in the last 6 months in a major way...
