Dondo's Supercharger Build

Hey all--

Here's a thread for my Pettit supercharger build. I've got the install scheduled for the first couple days of July.

Build will include:
I've already got the BHR ignition, midpipe (soon), and upgraded fuel pump installed. I'll be installing on a fresh motor too (did not reuse that fuel line if you were wondering about my car catching on fire).

CRH and Easy are headed up here to Seattle for the install so I don't screw anything up and then I'll turn to MazdaManiac for the tune.

The goal is to create a reliable daily driver 8 that can function well on the street and on the track. It'll mostly see track days but probably some autox as well. We have some nice road courses up here between Seattle and Portland and I'm excited to get back out there with a new car.

I read the entire Pettit Supercharger Owner's Thread (yes, the whole thing and it took forever) but I learned a lot and got a good glimpse into the drama of 8club's past.

There's a lot of excellent data on cooling in there and it seems most of the SC guys are pretty focused on that but I don't expect to have much of a problem up here in the NW where temps rarely get into the 80s or 90s. Of course I'll keep an eye on it and adjust as necessary in the future but I'm leaving out the cooling mods for now.

That said, I'm looking forward to welcoming the BHR guys here in Seattle (CRH's first trip up here I believe) and having a good time working on the cars we all love so much I'll let them post their travel schedules so anyone else in the area can come over and hang out. The install will be at my office in Renton if anyone wanted to come check it out; I'll have to work through the 2nd but have Sat, Sun, and Monday off.

my dates are firm so if you're not gonna be installed by 4th of July I'm def gonna beat you to it. hahaha. but it's ok, you can have a ride.

You realize I use to work at 13 Coins on Boren and John sts in the late 70's. And I drove an RX4 to work. How dated is that?

Have you bought the Greddy oil filter relocation kit yet?

I've had this link in the back of my mind for a long time courtesy of TeamRX8

http://www.derale.com/

#15718 or #15748 for a single filter

#15749 for a dual filter
Oil filter relocation stuff starts at page 36 of their products catalog. See Team's recommendation for part numbers.

Maybe I can save you a few bucks
