Dondo's Supercharger Build
Lol---tell easy I only take Greyhound short buses!
small pulley or big pulley?
if yall took that fuel injector gas line off --do not reuse it.
good time to insulant the fuel lines/rail--the gas inside the rail can get up to 180F without it.
you are going to run a cat?
deleting that air pump sure gives to a lot of room and you can put heat shield on the exhaust a lot easier.
I placed a dei heat shield over the oem header and then attached the aluminum oem shield on top of that--sure helped a lot.
taking that pump out also clears up a area if which the remote oil filter can go
That remote is a clean looking job.
hint on the dip stick----straighen out the yellow curled end of it and attach and extension--such as the tube that comes with that magnet ch was using. use a good epoxy and ram the dip stick end down in there. once it dries, bend it in a Z manner so it will clear everything--then just expoy a chrome lug nut on top of the new handle and it looks like a real custom job. Makes checking the oil easier as you dont have reach way down there to get to it.
ok i will shut up now.

Why? It is designed to be reused. That is why it has a quick-disconnect.
I've probably pulled mine off two dozen times.
So? It's not a drag-car and it's not carbureted.
The OE manifold is already really well insulated by design.
It is double-walled and shielded with a shroud and a blanket.
I don't think they are building a 1920's Roadster.
Here's a mod for you:

As a side note guess who just put up the worst compression numbers in history for a rebuild from Mazda with 12k miles on it grab ya?
How about 5.0 on the lowest face at 250 rpm adjusted.
Edit: updated rpm.

thought you might have been interested in hitting the beers with my 8. she's been thirsty!
Guess you will have to take it in for a "won't start, runs rough " complaint and get them to check the compression
