Got the engine apart. Chipped one apex seal on the rear rotor, near the corner piece. Damaged the housings, no other damage however. Looks pretty good inside to tell you the truth.

No cracks on the spark plug holes, all the seals were sealing very well, no bearing damage, etc...

I am positive if this thing wouldn't have hit 27psi, it would take a beating for a very long time..

So now with some Goopy Apex seals, this engine will be set...

So, whats happening?

Have you found a solution for operating the APV?

I'm waiting for that dyno...:-)

Yes...replace with 3rd rotor

No i think we're just going to keep it keyed open/closed and have 2 different tunes.

Nope. It's these guy's coatings.

If I could only afford to do the entire motor when it's rebuilt.

As far as perfomance...what do you think will be the main impact of coating the rotors E? Increased longevity...lower surface/coollant temps.... Just kickin the discussion a bit.

Must say that is a bit disappointing to be honest. Would make the kit even more interesting. If I could choose, I'd like the 360WHP dyno to continue up without falling in top- end, to 8,5-9k RPM

Did I mention I like revving the engine?

All of our kits now come with enough downpipe clearance to allow proper operation of the valve. At the time this was built everyone was under the impression the aux ports made no difference in power...

Car will be running shortly, its 95% back together...

I actually built this stuff quite a long time before we had the car in our possession, and accordingly to everyone I spoke to( mostly other shop owners) it made zero difference. Keep in mind I don't read everything on the forum . If I had time for that we wouldn't be in business...

Regardless the design has been changed, and if there wasn't a 20B on the way to our place for this car, it would be changed on his setup....
