well .. sincie you live in NY.. maybe you have heard of B&H video..

there online to.. look at there small color CCD cameras. they may have one that is smaller and you can just mount it on the bottem of your plate. that way you want have the lighting issue.

After all a camera is a camera. if that works just return the frame camera and get a small spy camera from B&H

yes theres 4 sync wires to cut.... so far i have a small scrolling line but its just needs to be grounded better.

Avelectronics was unable to make a plug and play tap for it.. but its very easy to splice in.

I have no scrolling lines in my display at all. Although I was very careful regarding making a master ground wire. The display works great. And yes, the four wires to cut (R)ed, (G)reen, (B)lue and Sync are very easy to splice in.

Thew,
Nothing new. The guys over at crimestopper and I have been playing phone tag. So I haven't had a chance to talk to them. A little off thread, but, I just received my Carbon Fiber ECU, Battery, and Fuse Block covers and they look AWESOME! All I need now is the radiator cover and airbox cover. I am hoping to start a new thread and post pictures tomorrow.

My problem is simple, and the resolution also. I need having of the photos of the inside of the AVElectronics unit. I have the same unit, but it does not have the modification. If you succeeded to having of the beautiful photos of the inner
wiring, I would go to reply it.

Are you trying to send out a Svideo Signal ?

The box will only do standard resolution 350 lines. and the LCD screen will take up to a 800x600 res but the t.v. is only 320 lines at 4:3 ratio ! so .. you will never get very good resolution but it is just as good as your home t.v. Unless your runnin HD t.v. like me.

I dont really see y you want or need an svideo input becasue the box downconverts the outputs anyway. If you just want the connection.. you can buy an adapter to do this..

I know AWillsea had this done to his.. not sure why and if it really made a differance. I would install it anyway and then just take it out later to mod it yourself.

I too would like to see AWillsea svideo wireing setup but

Without ripping it out of AWillsea's car we can't get a pic like that.. !!

I am running a Blaupunkt dvd-me2 stand alone DVD player. it will play any cd , dvd media. It sends the signal to my Avelectronics box, the Audio is brodcast over the FM radio.. Sounds Great!!! very easy to opperate. I mounted mine in the center passthrough box. This dvd player can be installed flat or on end .. Also this DVD player has inputs front and back.. so i can plug a video camera, Playstation etc... into it in my Glove box and get the feed to the Nav Screen and Audio system , This still leaves me one more input on the avelectronics box.
