where did u mount your input switch ?
I am thinking of the little pop out left of the glove box. but it may be to week to handle a whole in the center.

Just thought it would look more stock than sticking it in one of the switch knock outs next to the DSC

ok .. closer now.. I am still confused on the lead for the parking break.. you are saying just to ground it out.. not hook it to 12 volts ?

and the lead for the backup camera gets a +12 volt signal from the back up light circut.... This can be found in the 2nd connector in the back of the oem DVD player.

NOt to sure if the Plate camera i got will end up working.. it looks like it will obstruct the Light for the rear plate.. I think the light will just glare out the camera lens .. it would be better to mount one in the bumber..

Ok . I just cut in all the wires .. Also I found the Backup light feed and the parking break feed in the same harness. There in the other connector. I can post the mazda dig if you like it will show you what wires to tap . I taped the Backup light lead for the AV Box , and i ran the Break light to ground. Also you have to feed the review camera with +12 volts.

As for the licens plate camera. There seems to be issues with the frame blocking the light . I relized that it obstructs the Light for the plate. This will most cerntly cause a Ticket .. SO i have found some small stick on Led lights. I will mod the Camera Frame to hold these and connect them to the OEM light.

Ill post pics when i am done.

I am so happy !!!

The Mod i did to the Frame Camera works great. !!

You will need to go by your local auto parts store and get two very small led's I happend to find just the right thing .. Ill take a pic when i wake up for ya.
The camera works great. Not the best image in the world but its a very wide view.

Also my video image is very stable.. I only see a scrolling bar if thres no input to the av box and its on a blue screen.

Did you ground yours to the big heavey black wire that is the isloated ground for the OEM dvd ? I ran only the Isolated ground from the av box to that spot. All the other grounds I ran to the Cahssie screw under the dvd mount.

YOu may want to go back and move just the small little Isolated ground wire from the avbox to the OEM Isolated Ground on the dvd player.

The Wiring Diag shows this LEad going to the LCD screen and direct to the battery. it does not tie into the chassie at all.

Scannig the g diag now.

ok this is a pic of the 2nd connector on the back of the OEM DVD player.
Find the Red wire with the Yellow stripe.
Thats the Backup light signal. you can tap into that to feed the avbox blue wire (backup light).

Remember to give your camera power to.. but dont power it off the backup light circut unless you dont want to turn it on while driving foward!

if so it needs power all the time, so hook it into the power feed for the avbox.

Btw you can see the isolated ground here to. its 3a .

Plate camera ligt mod.
there you see the over all .. you can see the OEM light is hitting the top of the camera Frame. Also note the Parry thing is just plastic dealer. A real Ca Plate is reflective. anyway . you can see that i mounted 2 light blue led's inside the upper part of the camera Frame.

you cant flip it, it will only mount rightside up ..

Theres a giant whol where the OEM Plate light is.. then insied the trunk there a solid pop out closer to the drivers side rear tail light. Pop that out and fish the wires back to the Plate Light.
No holes need be drilled .. except in the Grommet it the trunk .

Yes ll take a pic of something and post in in about 2 hours.

the camera works great. the view is very wide and far away. But iot still a great addition.

P.S. I can get about 4 t.v. channels here.. even while driving.
