They no longer have the parking light or fog light in stock. If you are interested, I'd email them the part number (which I also have listed on the first page) and ask if they are getting more.

For anyone that was interested in the out-of-stock forward facing 4x.5watt 194 bulbs (the one's I'm using in my parking lights), I noticed that they are back in stock:

Oops, I spoke too soon, it just says they are out of stock on this page, but they should be in on the 3rd or 4th.

I also email v-leds about the H11 bulbs since so many of you are asking me about them, and they said they'd be in stock in a week or so.

QFT! My question, are these really functional or just for show? Does anyone have any shots of the functionality of these LED foglights? (Can I really use them as foglights?)

 

No, they can't be used for foglights. I'd say the are about 75% the brightness of an incanscent bulb, but there isn't really a beam pattern, it just scatters light everywhere. So, more for show and they do work great as DRL's. Really makes my gray car pop when I'm driving around when it's rainy and overcast.

ok question real fast, im looking for a good parking light bulb that's going to match up with my 8K's pretty well, I don't suppose you know the link or know where I could get some (Aipex). And also if I do order some you said people should install resistors? Is this really necessary?

I have a pair, they are very bright (3 .5w LEDs) and are more blue than the ones that I'm currently using for parking lights.

Resistors are your call, some people don't use them and never have an issue. I'm not using them with my foglights and haven't had a problem. My parking lights and license plate light went through bulbs like crazy until I installed resistors though, now not one burn out.

 

Hmm... im kinda afraid to get them without the resistors lol, i mean i have LED's in my Clear corners and they do fine...

Yep, those are the ones that I have. The 3 x .5 watt bulbs uses different LEDs though. Equally bright but more blue color to them.

The newer bulbs have IC controllers in them that can handle 9V-24V, so installing resistors as surge protection is not necessary. (I have no resistors on my fogs for example and have had no burn outs). I've received a lot of PMs and questions about resistors, I feel safe saying not to worry about them now that the bulb technology seems to have improved.

Color temp of white bulbs is approx 6000K, but they also have 6000K HID bulbs so you can get a good color match.

Since the housing isn't chrome and doesn't reflect well, I find a simple forward firing LED works best in the parking light, so I'd recomend this one:

So Aipex these new lights have IC controllers in them so they don't need resistors but are they included in the bulbs I wanted and will the new color of them be 8K? Why im curious is I've read the page for the bulbs you recommended and the page mentions nothing of a IC controller and they still state the color is 6K...

 

Well, the IC controller is just a technical note, don't expect to see it on the V-LEDS site. The bulbs that you're interested in haven't changed in build or color temp. It's the bulbs from a few years back when I first started running LEDs that didn't have the IC controllers I'm guessing.

As far as color temp goes, it really varies from bulb type to bulb type. Jake said in the email to me 8000K, the site says 6000K. I guess I would say from personal experience that the white bulb run from 6000K - 8000K. I have a set of the both the 4 x .5x and 3 x .5w and I'd guess that they are about 6000K and 8000K respectively.

Take a look at this pic and you'll see that the 3 x .5w bulb you were thinking about is clearly the brightest of the ones pictured (note the 4 x .5w is not pictured here) and is appox in the 8000K range:
