It's a significant issue because anyone with tuning experience recognizes that a 100 flash limit is not even remotely acceptable regardless of price.

Doesn't all flash software have the "disable the 100 flash limit" setting?

Hmmm, I went from Protune to the Cobb AP,

When and if they get that it will be great progress. Except nobody knows if it will be tomorrow, next week, next year, etc. Can't we just cut the usual forum ZOMG baloney for once? Even after the 100 flash issue came up it was still be promoted as "like Cobb only better" as well as "can tune S2" blah blah f'ing blah, yet not one scrap of proof to back it up. Its a bunch of BS to say anything more than its a developmental work in progess and has been since 2009. That nobody even recognized the flash limit until now speaks for itself.

Nope - I've asked Epifan to come up with a fix but had no respose yet . That won't get me out of the crap though . Still need by ECU to be "bench flashed" to remove the 100 count .

As far as my existing tune goes - it seems to be ok to keep adding boost so far

not as awesome as people still posting this up as a valid software option in other threads *after* the 100 flash limit issue was discovered

like it or not the road to success is reached through honest critique and assessment, not BS hype or fanbois prematurely blowing their wad before knowing all the facts

still waiting on you or anyone else posting up anything that can validate implied claims that S2 tuning is possible

Awesome news.

Just to shut Team up, have you had the chance to tune a series2? I know they are very rare in NZ so I understand, obviously other people in this thread aren't aware of that

I'm trying to cut through the BS, nothing else

to claim it's not a messenger issue is just more BS, at least on your part

if and when it can exceed the capabilities of what I currently use then I'll be on board too

I care. I acknowledge the work that has been done so far. But, he brought up an important point that needs to be taken care of before this is a truly useful tool.

Yes, its a very important point...that's been brought up umpteen times in multiple places. He is no longer making a point though, he is **** canning a product because he got burnt by someone else. That is called a vendetta and a misplaced one at that. He is also treating us like we're idiots and cant see these things if he doesn't point it out every second page.

How about instead of the constant negativity, you contribute something to help us get a viable tuning solution...ohh that's right he has one... forget the rest of us that don't...he couldn't give a crap about that.
