How Kane Tunes an FI Renesis - Turbo, Ported, Ceramic Seals

I like the Scanalyzer live better than the logging of the AP by miles. And I like the fact that you use one brick for more than one vehicle. Oh and I like how easy it is to move map tables to excel and all that Jazz, sometimes it is a real PITA to get the scale and the table to copy and paste at once from the AP.
Everything else goes to the AP.... Unless they don't have one for your ECU.

When I'm just tracking or driving around, I use the SCANAlyzer on the pop-up display in my car.
It's excellent.
That said, the PC logger for the AccessTUNER software is really good - way better than the internal logging of the AP, but just not as convenient.
Hmm. I use Excel side-by-side with the AccessTUNER PRO software constantly and the c-n-p and scaling works flawlessly.
Maybe its a problem with the RACE version.

The issue is not as bad on my big *** Mac monitor since I can open the map all the way up. Mostly it is getting the map and scales all in or out in foul swoope thatthe AP Race won't do.
Have you tried logging with the Live USB? You have to clean up the files some, but the amount of info you can get is very nice.

Ahh, yeah, I didn't account for monitor size.
On my eeePC and my desktop, I can get the entire grid open. The desktop is dual-monitor, so I can run the tuner on one screen and Excel on the other.
I use the gauges from the SCNAalyzer. The live logging from the AP is better because it gets all the same parameters, but allows me to also add the external wideband as a datapoint.

HAHA - my initial complaints were due to me being on the road for 6 months straight I think, because the only computer I had was the netbook...
Now that I just use it in the car and at the dyno - it's not so bad...but I am a big bitch so I always cry about stuff like that.

Updated for Tune 6.
Looks like I'll do the Boost Controller this weekend and then dyno early next week.
I love this thing.... this car is damn violent; especially with my wife driving - She is fearless (I guess she has a better chance of getting out of a ticket). I asked her to describe it this time around vs the first few tunes (which she drove on quite a bit while I babysat the laptop), and she mentioned that it was smoother, and the car felt lighter.... which to me means that it is starting to make some real power.
She also mentioned that her Speed6 now feels like an econo-box rather than a TC-ed sports sedan...HEHE. I agree, I drove it around the other day when my ECU was bricked - and it used to feel ballsy to me, especially down low - now it just feels slow.

I should add - being able to tune all of the Idle maps has given me 21" of vacuum at 1200 RPM.
So once the WOT stuff is done it will be time to get my idle down lower - for now though I still get 200 miles per tank so I'll live with it until I get some time to play with the idle.
