not clear on putting in MAF and g/sec values. so just copy the calibration from racetuner and paste it in that little box that says: Forms!frmMAFScale!MAFScaleName

as to the error, i had air/fuel latency at 500ms and logging interval at 300ms, do you think maybe that caused the error?

Probably not - I am going to try to record a set-up video...

In the meantime - go to options.... MAF Scale - name it APbase or something.

Then set up the volts a g/sec in the window the same as your AP MAF scale.

Call me if you need to.

Here is a quick 5 minute video of me setting up an engine, setting up the MAF and importing two log files, then scaling the MAF and Tuning the car....

Does this help?

okay, now i see what you mean with the set up volts and g/sec.

what's with your load scale on that video?

it should like your fuel map, right?

6
13
...
106

on the rpm scale, why did you leave the load part at 0?

i couldn't hear sound on the video, is there? you probably answer my questions.

No sound... I was in a hurry and I am on my itty bitty tuning laptop which is slow.

The Load scale should be the same as your AP yes.
The Acceleration Fueling on the RPM window you can leave at 0 - since we haven't set that part of the software up yet.

Yeah - for tuning it is, not for MAF Scaling.

Damn this is a really cool option for me.

I think I will give this a try after installing my BNR upgraded turbo. The only thing I am concerned about is the dwell settings for the BHR ignition system.

Hey Kane.
I'm sitting down right now to go through it.
I'm going to have questions, I just hope I don't ask anything that has already been answered.

I've read this entire thread and printed what must be your entire website.
Clicking video link now... bbiab

That is cheating.... and I dig that about you!!!!

Actually anyone with the same target AFR's and factory injectors as you can use yours - they will just have to scale the MAF from scratch.

That is AFR latency - not logging interval; and yes OL or CL doesn't really matter - just go from half throttle to 0 throttle, an look for in your log for full lean.

log everything and set the intervals at 500ms and 500ms. should be fine with that.

Okay,
Kane the video was helpful, however going to youtube always gets me distracted.

Questions:

1. Ambient Pressure: I'm at 1200feet altitude. Do you have a website that could tell what my ambient pressure is? I'm using 14.1 psi

2. Manifold PSI Scale: I'm assuming 0 (or 14.7?)for NA? I've never really been able to find any information specific to this, hope I didn't miss it.

3. What would you input differently for calculating a fuel map for Nitrous?

4. Confirm that nothing you don't have to change anything in the Fueling Strategy tab?

5. For injector Max/Min duration ms: I used 16ms and 1.7ms sound right?

Other inputs:
I'm using a Cobb AP with the factory O2 sensor:
AF ratio latency = 620 ms
Logging interval = 350 ms
