Baseline Automated Tuning Beta Now Available for Download
Unfortunately I'm not going to have much time to play today.
My vacuum hunt has still turned up nothing. I know from speaking with MM on the dyno days how important it is that your car does not have vacuum leaks when you doing things like MAF Scaling and Tuning in general. So I'm leery on preceding.
I'm hoping this CEL is being thrown from the CAT.... anyways baby steps and chalk it up to experience if I need to completely redo everything.
Sooooooo
Just checking here:
- I've scaled my MAF in the ATR as recommended by Baseline.
Should I also re-setup my MAF Scale with the new values in Baseline? Yes I'm thinking.
Should I produce an AFR map with the new MAF Scale (assuming I redo the Setup MAF Scale option) or just go out and do some more data logging with my adjusted MAF Scale?

Mouhahahaha.
Yeah - the app will not be moved to a standalone until I am done with Beta testing.
So you need Access.
wcs - you do not have to mess with the MAF Scale from the options screen anymore.... it is just there to keep you organized. Remember, you are not tuning the fuel maps yet.... just the MAF, so scale the areas you need and trend it if you need to.... then load it up and relog.
See my MAF scaling post on my website for detailed instructions.

If your Fuel Trims look good and your MAF is good. The next step is to auto tune... and then view the % to add or remove Map.
Then go to the fuel VE% table and use those percentages to adjust.
Then go to the fuel VE% table and use those percentages to adjust.
the damn load scale is different in the VE table.

For those of you having problems with version 1.6 - I have fixed some bugs and released a new one.
This one version works for Vista and for XP.
If you version is working then don't worry about it - though this one doesn't expire until October.

It seems as though this new version solves all my Vista drama... however - tuning more than 10,000 records at a time tends to slow it way down. My netbook will run a 20K tune in about 5-6 minutes; on Dannobre's it took almost 10.
So I will try to speed it up some - keep in mind that logging every 20ms - your still talking over half and hour of log-files per tune.
With the AP - your talking about like a freakin day of logs.
