The revi is a nice mod, but dont expect too much from it. I'd say get either a CZ or midpipe/high-flow cat. Don't get me wrong, i got a revi about 2 weeks ago and love the car a LOT more now, but it doesnt give a very big boost in power.

I like CZ's Random Tech with the resonator also.

I like the RB Cat Back also.

Both are 6 bills.

That's 12 Bills.

We'll see.

I Mod, I Mod, It's off to work I trod.

Unless you can have the CZ unit tuned I would go for the hi-flow cat. The CZ untuned can give anywhere from 0 hp to 10 hp. Tuned, it can get from 16 whp to 25 whp. Tuning will usually cost a few hundred, but you can get a good, used CZ for a couple of hundred $, then have it tuned (bringing it to around $600.

I'm also looking to get something in the next month. From what I read in this thread I'm thinking either flywheel or CZ (completely stock right now). As far as getting the CZ tuned, where do you go to do that? If anybody knows a place in central NJ let me know.

So what are your guys opinions...CZ or flywheel first? I think I mostly want to improve off the line acceleration.

the flywheel will bring a smile on your face, because the car becomes rev-happy, but will not give you hp...
I don't have a CZ but from fanman's words it sounds better... 20whp

How do i find out what flash I have and what is the benefit of getting the most current. I am a new RX-8 owner, and I want to make sure t hat when i ask the dealer to flash my car, I know what I am talking about. Also, I am looking into getting an exaust upgrade, what is your suggestion, I wnat something with a deep throaty tone, not the Honda whining noise I hear from the little Civics that run around town,
