Is this the hanger you mean?

No problem with the bolts but had to bend the hanger so as to not touch the frame.

thats why I assembled it as one piece then put it on the car... I hate tightening bolts under the car. And the springloaded bolts are a bitch.

Here's a picture i took of it this morning when doing the install. This really pissed me off. Had to do some impromptu metal cutting at 3 in the morning.

^^^ same thing happened to me. But to less of an extent. I got it through with a rubber mallet.

The mechanic fitting my exhaust simply replaced those spring things with standard bolts. No problems.

I coulnt get the housing that goes around the bolt to fit in the other side. I guess if you just used a regular nut instead of the spring loaded ones.. it would work.

has anyone messed around with the silencers? i had them out for the first couple of weeks, but then went on a road trip for a total of about 13 hrs of driving, so i wanted them in for that. now, they will NOT come out. its like they are almost fused together, any ideas? they are seriously stuck

I removed mine after about 4/5 weeks of driving. It did take the use of 2 pliers and a lot of force twisting and pulling before they came out. I guess a little WD40 or similar would help a bit also.

mine went in really easy, but not out. i bet they are so restrictive, kinda counterproductive to the point of the exhaust.

Got the Hymee sCANalyser so as to find out why I have the CEL since we fitted the TurboXS exhaust system.
It gave me code P0030 (front H02S heater control circuit problem) and code P0031 (front H02S heater control circuit low). I dont think that this problem had anything to do with the new exhaust system as I have put back the stock header and stock CAT pipe and still have the CEL.
At this point I think that I need a new 'Front 02 Sensor'? which I priced from my local Mazda dealer and he wants just over us$666 (€500) for the part?

Anybody know of an online retailer for the front 02 sensor and ships internationally?

[QUOTE=swoope]i think the codes are for a water sensor...

The codes are definitely for the front 02 (H02S) sensor which is a 4 wire type. The heater is used to maintain a high (above 300'c) temprature and appears to have malfunctioned.

I will try and contact those dealers as you suggested, thanks.

PM me your part number and I'll see if it matches the US spec, seems like I saw them for under $200USD here
