Thumbs up

I got the TurboXS complete race exhaust recently and can vouch for the loudness. It is very loud and not legal for everyday use. There is a definite increase in power especially above 7,000rpm. I have also fitted an OBX exhaust header, (cheap at $200). The OBX header is not a good fitment for my car but my mechanic went ahead and fitted it anyhow. I will remove the OBX header when I am next adding other mods.
The TurboXS exhaust is of superb build quality and for track days etc it is a very good investement.
The ground clearance with my Tein SuperStreet coilovers lowered 1/2'' (12mm) and a full tank of gas is about 3.75 inches. I have only scraped the exhaust coupling on speed bumps when carrying passengers or simply going too fast.

Did you have any exhaust leaks? I have read that it's been a problem for some.

Exhaust leaks are associated with fitting the catback to the OEM midpipe/cat. The 3'' to 2.5'' connection can be difficult to seal properly. Mine does not leak as I have replaced all the exhaust system which is 3'' from the exhaust header to the tailpipes.

This is a link to a video of the full race exhaust system (CATless). The exhaust has about 750 miles driving on it at that time. I do have a CEL and have not succeeded in eliminating it. I have tried the different O2 spacers but still got the CEL.

I forget to mention that you need to turn up the volume on your PC's sound system and I hope you have a good subwoofer, that is really the only way you will hear it as it really is.

The tailpipe silencers are removed with an Allen wrench and spanner. Quick and simple.

OK, we just installed one a few hours ago with the midpipe. It's definitely louder, but not any louder than any of the other aftermarket exhausts. And the tips: What the F are you guys talking about? The tips are perfect. They're the closest-to-stock pieces out there. you guys really want stupid-*** 6" tips, thats fine. But you guys out there complaining that the true performance exhaust system won't allow you to stick your head in the tailpipe better pull their head OUT of their tailpipe.

I'm going to have a little extension pipe put on mine. How much further back do they need to go?
