First impressions on a couple of quick
drives- the intake is as quiet as stock at idle and normal throttle
but when you step on it and/or get up in the higher revs it is I would
say pleasantly louder with a different slightly deeper more growlier
tone. My car definitely feels like it pulls harder too. I don't notice
any roughness at idle or when first accelerating. Id swear the mid
range acceleration is better and all the way to red line it just pulls
harder than with the stock unit.
funny i said pleasantly louder and another person said "not unreasonably louder":D id say thats nearly identical responses. i think its a definite improvement over the stock intake as far as sound and feel of the car. everyone has a different opinion of how much hp needs to change before your butt dyno can register it- i can tell you my car feels more powerful from 3k to redline- whehter thats +5hp or +10hp ill let you decide. i dont have a before dyno to compare by the way is "growlier" actually a word or did i just make that up?

I too am looking forward to getting one - I will be ordering it tomorrow. I am getting the Canzoomer installed (by Maurice himself no less! I figure it is worth the drive to have it done correctly, and to learn how to tune it properly) in early May, so I sincerely hope that it arrives before then. It can take a while longer for shipping to Canada.

*Legal in California only for racing vehicles, which may never be used upon a highway.
