wait can we even have ITBs for our cars?

Hey, you guys that got the OBX header... You might want to check the welds with a magnet, because I have heard of other OBX headers rusting at the welds... The pipe they use is stainless, but the welds might not be. If you use a magnet, and it pulls to the welds (the stainless pipe isn't magnetic) then you might want to invest in some rust prevention.
If you got 26whp on a Mustang dyno... That is pretty good for bolt ons! With the Rick Shaw ECU, can you change the timing as well? If you can, are there different programs that you can put on it? If so, then you could have an advanced timing program for off-juice for good performance without, and then pull timing with the 75 shot.

If it is, these are huge numbers...I want.

that what there going to work on today no time has been changed yet

Bummed, but bring on OU!
fwiw a Mustang dyno usually puts up numbers about 4-5% under what a Dynojet will. So you'd be looking at 218-220ish on a Dynojet.
and what the hell is ITBs?

I was loaned an amemiya header for testing and gained a blistering 2hp/2lbft at the wheels. It was a truly gorgeous work of art especially the collector but not worth the big money.
I did order the OBX today because for the money, if I gain the power I got from the Amemiya for sooo much less $$. I'll post up when I get it done.

Individual Throttle Bodies
Individual Throttle Bodies improve engine response and power output through the use of one throttle body per cylinder.
Super Response
Throttle Response is improved due to the reduction in volume of air within the intake manifold. By elimintaing "pumping loss", throttle response is greatly improved.
Increased Power
Improved induction efficiency supplies the engine with the correct quantities of air/fuel on demand.
1. Equal length intake runners..
2. Straight induction ports.
3. Individual throttle bodies are individually smaller in volume, but collectively larger in volume. This allows for both low-end torque, and high-end power.
4. Airflow bench tested trumpet.
So you see, our rx8's can't have itbs

Please tell me you were joking about the ITB comment? It sounded like a joke, but if you were serious, well just think about the concept of ITB's.
Not a fan of the injector setup spraying straight into the TB's, probably more of a race application, but it gets the point across.

Hi guys
just receive mine today
it looks pretty outside
s
when I see the inside (exhaust port), I think we can remove some steel :
exhaust port will be a little bigger and better "extract" for the gas.
more power ?
I make a picture soon

Well I weighed the OBX header already for you that you probably noticed. If no one has done it by the time I'm finally ready to install my full exhaust I'll let you know. This was one of my interests as well, weight savings.
