It's every bit as relative as the example you gave . Which I thought was a very good analogy BTW

You can over engineer anything . Are you sure it's necessary to have the extra length in a Renesis ? That was my point . I thought someone with your background would have got that , but you are too busy thinking up sphincter jokes to see the wood for the trees .

So the weight of the seal doesnt affect the grove wear because the fulcum(sic)
point and the external forces that drives the wiggle remains the same?
Speaking in reference of comparing ceramic to oem only.

the weight of the seal is not relative to the forces that work on it, the beam strength of the Renesis depth seal has been reported to be insufficient, peripheral port or not ... again I would not hesitate to use FD seals in modified Renesis rotors regardless of cost if that option were available to me
