I look forward to a pump and thermostat package price.
I don't have a ton of items to offer; nor do I have any intentions of such, however, I want what we offer to be significant. We've taken this long due to the research including: Consulting the OEM manufacturer in Japan (Who do offer 'performance' thermostats for various applications), observing the benefits of our water pump and being upset by the inability to go a step further. I've mentioned my intentions to Jeff, Charles, Charlie, Charlie, Erik,Fred and others for quite some time now (Not a typo, these people know who they are and most of us do as well ). On paper we knew that the stock unit was not perfect. Ours is closer to perfection.

Thanks for your thoughtful input wankelbolt. The price as announced elsewhere of the thermostat is $65. The pump is $245. Together they are $300. They will be officially on sale within a week, God willing.

Paul.

follow the shop manual

basically in order to install water pump, u have to take the Alternator, Alt belt, AC belt, water pump pulley, and of course, the old water pump out. (and all other stuff thats in the way)

for Thermostat, u need to take the alter, loosen the ac belt, and take 2 bolts outa of the water pump right under the thermo. oh yea take the Air pump out too.

so its better to do both at the same time.

I've been out of town the last 4 day's and have not had a chance to install the thermostat yet. I have been doing some logging of coolant temps though. Right now being 82 degrees ambient temps the car is running at 196 degrees around town with a little bit of spirited driving. No nitrous.

I'm confident that your data will be quite valuable. Now get back to flogging and logging.

You might want to ask NYCGPS. He's a sweetheart of a guy and I'm sure wouldn't mind making a few extra dollars.
