Once I see 230 degree F(110 C) water temp I back it down.
My next mod is an undriven pulley.

Sounds like a RE-medy radiator is your next requirement. The Koyo units have been below par and 230 is just plain too high. We would like to see you at no more than 200 at the track under load. Make sure that you have everything properly sealed off as well in and around the radiator.

I spent alot of time last night sealing off openings. The CAI leaves a big hole in the bulk head that required several layers of roll bar padding and pipe insulation to seal. I also replaced the under tray with a solid sheet of aluminium in an attempt to help the flow thru the rad.
I may need to pull the nose to get to some of the harder spots.
I agree with you, I can not continue tracking my 8 with these water temps.
Mazda Motorsports offers a Ron Davis core rad. How does RE-medy rad compare? ($$, performance)

Mike,

Our radiator is the same unit offered by Mazdaspeed. Our price is $535 vs whatever pricing you may find elsewhere for it. I'm sure we're the cheapest in the US for this competition approved unit.

Paul,
That's a good price. MazdaSpeed quoted me $550.
The water temps at the track this weekend were back up to 230
I have sponsorship with Mazda, Racing Brake and Agency Power.
The sponsorships are typically in the form of a discount on parts.
Is Mazmart accepting sponsorship applications?
