JIC Full Titanium VS. Tanabe Ultra Medallion?

unfortunately, im not sure i can justify spending on a full ti exhaust i would like to loose weight though. i plan to call JIC in the near future to ask about the sound of the ss/ti as compared to the full ti version, as well as its weight. if i get any useful info ill post it here!

haha, I totally forgot I posted that I'd post a sound clip! I'll get one within the next 5 days, exhaust has some dents in it but shouldn't make too much of a difference...
Mazdaspeed cai will change the sound a bit but you should get an idea. I'm thinking about selling soon and picking up the HKS hi power (call me crazy but the single tip is growing on me more and more) so check the classified if you want a full ti for super cheap!

Now turbo!
I found another YouTube vid with the JIC Ti exhaust. Has sounds from inside the car AND outside the car. Sounds great if you ask me!

Don't know exactly yet, I've inquired some people on prices for the hks hi-power and we'll see what I need to get once I hear back from them. If there was someone with that exhaust looking for one of these I would be inclined to make the transaction very easy.

i called JIC, they said the sound of the ST should be very similar to the Ti, and that it shouldnt weigh more than 1-2lbs more than the Ti. im a lil skeptical about the weight though.

Avoid the JIC unit if you are going Turbo. It dropped my power from 354 to 302 @ the same 12PSI. I bought the thing because it has a 3" profile, but the resonator they use has an internal diameter of only 2.25". Pretty lame if you ask me. I have thought about cutting out the resonator, but I think I may just sell it and buy the racing beat.
The ST sounds and looks great by the way, Mazsport even commented on how light it was.
