it's low, but it's right between the wheels. the only way you'll scrape is by taking a huge angle on a huge speed bump or anywhere that will stick something 3 inches high under the car. otherwise parking block or going straight up/down steep driveways looks like it could own it up too.

man, i still want this exhaust. all it needs is better tips.

yeah it does hang pretty low. i wonder if the shop could raise it up a little but oh well. i just wanted to try it out, but it is low. Im not all that hot on the tips either, i might get some new ones put on like the RB ones. i like the double wall look of those better

Nice looking, but sits really low. It needs it's own skid plate.

I have a question for N rider89. Is your car lowered and does that play a role on the 3 or so inches from the lowest point of the Helix exhaust? Would there be any possible issues with it scraping. I am assuming it would take almost 3 inches of suspension travel for it to meet with the ground, unless you have a high bump in the road go under the middle of the car.

to tell you the truth im not lowered, but my car sits noticeably lower than a stock one. at one of the meets i was comparing my car (with stock wheels & tires) to the one next to me, and it looked like my car was lowered. i had a lot less wheel gap in the rear. now my car is on 19's.

since my car seems to want to sit low that would really contribute to the exhaust hanging so low. also if you got an exhaust shop they could possibly make it higher also.

Arrived safely back in San Diego around 9:30 PM. I'll pick up the exhaust from the front desk at 9 am in the morning when they open, snap a few pics, and I'll be off to get it put on. I feel like I've been gone for a year; I won that auction back on May 31st!

I wasn't able to view your pictures earlier due to the workplace's firewall, but now I'm back on my own connection I can see it clearly. I will take similar pictures for comparison, as my rx8 is not lowered at all, stock Dunlop 18 tires/suspension.
