FS: JIC ST (semi-titanium) Exhaust 100 miles + a few dyno pulls old.

Asking $800 Shipped or $750 for local pickup.

The white spots in the one photo are just water marks. The exhaust is in absolutely fabulous condition as one would expect with only 100 or so miles and a few dyno pulls on it.

Paypal or Cash accepted.

I am selling it, because it doesn't flow well enough when you get above 310ish hp. SCSI you got a pm.

The difference between this and the full Ti is I believe some of the parts are not Ti. Most still are. But I know the hangars and brackets for the hangars are not Ti. The exhaust is still MUCH lighter than anything else out there from what I know. It sounds the same from what I can tell as the full Ti.

Turns out, shipping to Hi is pretty expensive for SCSI. He is going to let me know if he is willing to pick up the additional shipping later today. If not, does anyone want to be next in case he doesn't?

Thanks,

Slavearm

From the pictures it looks like the only parts of the exhaust that are Ti are the piping that connects the tips fo the muffler and the tips. Just look at the materials is pretty easy to see the difference.

You should weigh it b/c that big stainless muffler doesn't look lighter than most other exhausts.

I think you might be wrong. Not attacking you, but here is the documentation from JIC.

Spartan DE Type 2 ST (Semi-Titanium) features a full Titanium oval canister and a full stainless steel piping. Each Spartan DE Type 2 comes with a large 76.3mm piping and a high quality stainless steel resonator to keep the exhaust noise to a minimum. To enhance that important exhaust tone, the oval canister aids in keeping the exhaust tone clean. Each Spartan DE Type 2 ST system features an ultra lightweight canister with either a single or dual exhaust tip (some applications may be a special order item). Ideal for the enthusiast that wants an exhaust with a low profile, yet craves for throttle response, a clean exhaust tone, and performance found in no other exhaust.

No problem, your best bet is to weigh this exhaust. Good luck with the sale.

The Ti cat-back pipe isn't necked down at the front like the one shown

Our Ti canister wasn't polished/shiny either. It was the same color/finish as the tip tubes. That looks like stainless to me as does the cat-back pipe.

Nice buy for somebody though.

27 lbs. (everything) On my scale (normal human scale) that was zero'd prior to weighting. I was able to get a parcel post quote from USPS of 115 to Honalulu.

Shane, if you don't mind me asking, who installed your Mazsport turbo and who does your tuning on it?

Thanks,

Interesting, I would've thought a 3" catback would be plenty for mid 300 whp.

The main muffler can't be Ti if it weighs 27 lbs and it doesn't look like a Ti canister. Sorry but somebody is is just reading from an incorrect description/typo, which isn't unusual for a Jp product. It's still a great buy for what it is.

It's too internally restrictive for anything more than mild NA. The full Ti model being light and near OE quiet but more "tuned" sounding is what makes it so great. This would be the next best thing.

The whole exhaust is 27lbs not just the canister.

yes, but if the whole thing weighs 27 lbs the canister cannot be Ti. I have a full Ti version, it weighs 17 lbs. The claim is that the only difference is is the cat-back pipe to the muffler canister. I can't see that weighing 10 lbs more than the Ti pipe.
